Design and project management of HVAC projects, exhaust systems, materials handling, pressure vessels, process and utilities piping, fire protection, chemical laboratory design, filtration, hydraulics, code compliance, safety, cost of ownership, process improvement initiatives, site preparation. Prepare project proposals, schedule and costs. Supervise engineers and CAD designers in preparation of process flow diagrams, construction drawings, and equipment specifications. Responsible for completing projects within cost and schedule, preparation and administration of department capital and maintenance program. |
| Technical Support |
Systems level mechanical, electrical and optical systems troubleshooting of prepress imaging devices, processors, chemistry and related sensitized goods by phone and at customer sites throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. Supported a technical sales staff of 350 on quality and performance issues. |
| Product Development |
Facilitate design teams to establish and document specifications. Responsible for code compliance, subsystem interface, serviceability, and manufacturability for minimal cost. Conduct around the clock performance testing of pre-production models in environmental test chambers to verify product performance. Aid partners in marketing and manufacturing to reduce cost of ownership. Prepare technical Ad sheets. Supervise, coach and mentor personnel. |
| Process Development |
Establish needs and objectives with clients for new manufacturing capacity. Prepare project proposals detailing scope, schedule and cost. Supervise engineers and CAD designers in preparing process flow diagrams, layouts, and equipment specifications. Perform theoretical performance studies. |

Prepare curriculum and present product application training programs for 200 sales representatives, dealers, managers, annually. Use classroom, laboratory and customer locations around the country to reach students through hands-on approach. Co-author equipment manuals, technical articles, customer instruction sheets. 17 years experience teaching Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics for NYS Professional Engineer licensing exam review course |
